What is PSD templates (mockup)?
PSD templates is finished product which will represent your final project like a real project. No matter what you design logo, busines card, t-shirt or something else, all this can be introduced in Photoshop and present in a realistic way. In this tutorial I will present my the most common templates which I use every day when I draw. This templates I use when needed to present final logo one of the customers and give them all visual information to achieve higher sales. One important thing is: your artwork “logo” must be in png transparency format.
How can you import and transformed your artwork in Photoshop I will explain in next steps.
1. Step one “add templates”
First of all you have to find .psd templates, I suggest you search on Google with keywords psd templates, mockup photoshop etc. After you found compatible templates open Adobe Photoshop>File>Open and import your psd mockup as shown on screenshot below. You can download mockup Here which I use in this tutorial.
2. Step two ” Smart Object”
In the second step you have to choose Smart Objects on the right side then click Ok as shown on screenshot.
3. Step three “add your own artwork”
After you click on Smart Object a new window will appear within Adobe Photoshop, you have to switch on the new window and select File>Place then find your own artwork in my case I will place my logo.png format. You have possibility to move and reduce your work around the window as you want it. Finally select File>Save and return on the first window to see your work.
4. Step four “Final Mockup”
In fourth step you can see my mockup logo Nova Digitus as final product. As you can see in the picture logo looks like a real. To increase your sales my suggest is use the psd templates.
